In summer, various events and concerts are organized, and on major holidays, there are large celebrations. New Year’s Eve is usually celebrated with a concert featuring both Latvian and international performers. Artists such as Lauris Reiniks and Dzelzs Vilks have performed at various Saulkrasti festivities.
Getting to Riga from Saulkrasti is also convenient by car. Depending on your destination, you can drive either through Baltezers or Carnikava. It takes about 45–50 minutes to reach Old Riga, the city center, Ziepniekkalns, Arena Riga, or the Quiet Center.
