ABOUT THE PROJECT
A new project in the far center of Riga, in the yard of Bruninieku street 93. It is a qualitatively rebuilt building of a former weaving mill, which now has 12 well-furnished and energy-efficient loft-style apartments.
The building has undergone a complete renovation, which includes completely new all communications - electrical installations, water supply and sewerage networks, new partitions have been built, exterior doors of the apartments have been installed, complying with sound insulation and fire safety standards. The facade of the building was renovated, a new roof covering was built. As a result of the reconstruction, large floor-to-ceiling windows and French balconies were installed. A cement screed with warm floor heating pipes has been built to provide heating, and the warm floor heating in the bathrooms is provided by electricity. All construction works have been completed in the building and it has been commissioned.
All apartments have fully finished finishing works. The functionally planned apartments can be proud of a high-quality interior made of natural finishing materials. Stone baths, "Laufen" and "Grohe" sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, class 33 laminate and veneered doors are chosen for the comfort of the new residents.
All apartments have large floor-to-ceiling windows, which make these apartments very bright and cozy. This feeling is also reinforced by the ceiling height, which reaches 4m in several apartments, so the building allows the new residents to plan interesting furniture design and interior solutions.
In accordance with the new requirements for the energy efficiency of the building, insulation work was carried out on the external walls of the building, and energy-efficient double-chamber windows were installed. An individual heat meter is installed for each apartment and a recuperation system is installed. Heating is provided by a Toshiba air/water heat pump and solar panels installed on the roof of the building. The mentioned investments are currently considered the most effective cost-saving solution in an apartment building and will allow residents to receive small bills for the apartment.
This is the first known project with such a heating solution in the historical center of Riga.
